Día 1: Alajuela / La Garita.

Welcome to Costa Rica! Arrival at the San José airport, a real Tico picks us up to take us to our hotel. With a delicious Mojito in our hands, we will have a brief summary of the program for the next 14 days together before we can enjoy a delicious dinner.
Depending on the time of arrival, the afternoon is at your free disposal.

Día 2: Poás Volcano / Boca Tapada de San Carlos. 

We have breakfast and begin our first day of adventure in Costa Rica, on the way to Boca Tapada we will pass by the Poás Volcano, where we will enjoy its imposing crater, this is one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica. We will continue our journey crossing the central volcanic mountain range until we reach the Caribbean part of Costa Rica, where we will visit a dairy farm which is certified with an ecological blue flag since they do not use any type of agrochemicals. In this place they will teach us the entire production process in addition to showing us that it is not necessary to use chemicals to obtain an exceptional product. After this we will arrive at our hotel near the Nicaragua border.

Día 3: Boca Tapada de San Carlos. 

We have breakfast and gain strength to enjoy a tour of the San Carlos River. We will travel along the river with a local observing the fauna that surrounds it to reach a small border town where we will have a snack. Afterwards we will return along the river to the restaurant where we will have lunch, a local, economical tourist restaurant where we can taste the fresh fish just taken from the river, then we return to the hotel to enjoy its trails and to end the day a tour in the night to observe nocturnal fauna.

Día 4: La Fortuna de San Carlos.

We have breakfast and prepare for our next destination, La Fortuna de San Carlos, in this place we will begin by visiting a sloth bear sanctuary guided by a naturalist biologist who will explain to us about the life and conservation of these curious animals.

Later we will enjoy a swim in the pool at the foot of the Fortuna Waterfall and, once relaxed, we will attend a coffee tour to end the day at our hotel where we will enjoy an exquisite dinner and of course its hot springs.

Día 5: La Fortuna de San Carlos / Arenal Volcano.

We start the day after a good breakfast and prepare for a day of adventure activities, such as canopy, canyoning, hanging bridges and more.

After the adventure activities we will have lunch and head towards the foot of the Arenal Volcano where, in addition to taking a walk, we will be able to observe fragments of dry lava scattered throughout the area, visit viewpoints and observe the fauna and flora of the area.

Día 6: Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.

After a good breakfast we head to the mountainous area of Guanacaste, where we can enjoy a dream experience in a true Costa Rican hacienda. We will continue towards the Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where we will travel through its beautiful trails observing a wide variety of animals such as spider monkeys, tepezcuintles, pumas, snakes among others.

After our journey on the National Park trail, we will go to the Hacienda Guachipelín hotel where we can relax in its pool and in the afternoon enjoy the hot springs with volcanic mud.

Día 7: Rincón de la Vieja.

This day we will have it completely free to enjoy the different activities that the hotel has available, it will be a day of adventure where you can enjoy hiking, horseback riding tours, relaxation activities, water activities and much more.

Día 8: Rincón de la Vieja / El Jobo. 

We wake up and have breakfast peacefully and then continue our trip to one of the most beautiful areas of Guanacaste, the El Jobo area. We will arrive at our hotel in time to enjoy a free day and take advantage of the pool and of course the quiet beach where the hotel is located.

Día 9: El Jobo. 

We wake up very relaxed after our previous day off to have breakfast and set off to Cuajiniquil, we will take a tour visiting different semi-private beaches in the area, accessible only by boat, we will observe the marine fauna while snorkeling and we will have lunch on one of these beaches and then return to the hotel and enjoy a beautiful sunset on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, Playa Rajada.

Día 10: El Jobo / Playa Carrillo. 

After a comforting breakfast we continue our way towards Playa Carrillo, during the trip we will make some stops to stretch our legs until we reach our destination, Playa Carrillo where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches in the country.

Día 11: Playa Carrillo. 

After a good breakfast we will enjoy an ATV adventure, it will be a 4-hour tour where we will cross rivers and walk along paths of extensive vegetation while we observe the great variety of fauna and flora that the place has to finish enjoying a delicious barbecue.

We will have the afternoon free and we will prepare to experience turtle nesting in the evening.

Día 12: Playa Carrillo / Playa Naranjo. 

We have breakfast and head to Playa Naranjo, on the way we will visit the project of a family that has come far, we will get to know and live the experience of observing birds in the wetlands on a guided tour with transportation where you can observe the nature of rancho humo and birds like the Jabiru, Roseate Spoonbill, Godwit and other birds, this tour is excellent for bird watchers and families. Then we will continue our trip until we arrive at our hotel to enjoy the afternoon and prepare for an amazing night experience, bioluminescence.

Día 13: Playa Naranjo / Alajuela.

After a delicious buffet breakfast we will have the morning free to enjoy the hotel activities before heading to Alajuela. After the ferry we will enjoy a crocodile tour in the Tárcoles River. Prepare your cameras to save this unique experience. After this experience we will arrive at the hotel to rest and prepare for our last group dinner.

Día 14: Departure. 

Today our adventurous and paradisiacal round trip with Wild Costa Rica ends. Depending on the departure time, we have breakfast together and review the last two weeks. Then we head to the airport so they can return home.
