Description

Cahuita has been an important strategic enclave where Afro-Caribbean families established their first settlements. They engaged in coconut production, subsistence agriculture, hunting, and fishing. To preserve their valuable tropical forest, the lands of their ancestors were declared a national park. The National Park boasts incredible biodiversity. You will visit this picturesque Caribbean town and continue along the coastal trail of the park with breathtaking views. Venturing into the forest, our guide will tell you about the history, uses, and classification of the fauna species, easily spotting wildlife such as snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, birds, and insects, which you might be able to observe up close.

- Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.
- All tours are subject to availability.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- A minimum of 2 people per booking and a maximum of 8 people.

Cancellation Policy

- All cancellations must be emailed to info@wildtraveling.net at least 48 hours before the tour to receive a full refund. A full refund will be issued excluding a 5% credit card fee.
- Any changes to the tours must be emailed to info@wildtraveling.net at least 24 hours before the tour and are subject to availability.
- From December 15 to January 5 (holiday season), cancellations must be received at least 7 days before the tour to receive a full refund.
- For events beyond our control, we may switch to a more suitable tour with equal or similar adventure appeal or offer other tour options, so you don't miss a fun day in Costa Rica. We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unfavorable conditions and will only conduct a tour in accordance with our policies. A full refund is granted if (in rare cases) no tour is conducted.
- No-shows for any purchased service are considered a cancellation and are non-refundable.
- Once the trip begins, no refunds will be made for unused portions.
