Día 1: Alajuela / La Garita.

Welcome to Costa Rica! Arrival at the San José airport, a real Tico picks us up to take us to our hotel. With a delicious Mojito in our hands, we will have a brief summary of the program for the next 14 days together before we can enjoy a delicious dinner.
Depending on the time of arrival, the afternoon is at your free disposal.

Día 2: Irazú Volcano / Puerto Viejo de Limón. 

We have breakfast and begin our first day of adventure in Costa Rica, we are going to discover one of the secrets of how our country was formed by visiting one of our imposing volcanoes, the Irazú volcano, we will tour one of its craters and then go to one of the most highlands of the country, where if the weather permits, we can observe the entire central valley.

Later we will travel through the central mountain range until we reach the Costa Rican Caribbean, a place full of exuberant flora and fauna with incredible turquoise waters.

Día 3: Puerto Viejo / Indigenous Reserve Bribri. 

We have breakfast and continue our adventure with a trip inland visiting a small traditional Indian village where we will experience life in the jungle up close. We begin with a visit to a village of indigenous people who belong to the Bribris ethnic group. A family lives here that raises the endangered "green iguana." Then the Bribri Indians show us how to produce chocolate from cocoa beans in the traditional way. The locals allow us to participate in the life of the town community, so we get a little closer to the original culture.

To complete the day we will enjoy a free afternoon to relax on the beach, and we will end the day with a visit to a traditional Caribbean restaurant to taste its typical local dishes.

Día 4: Cahuita / Sarapiquí.

We have breakfast and prepare to enjoy the wonderful beach of the Cahuita National Park, surrounded by nature we can bathe while we listen to and observe some of the species of monkeys resident in the park, be careful with your belongings, since there are extremely daring white-faced thieves, These monkeys are very cheeky!

In addition to monkeys, we can observe other species of animals that circulate freely through the park.

After a morning of relaxing and observing animals, we returned to the hotel to clean up and continue our journey to the central Caribbean area, Sarapiquí. On the way we will pass through numerous plantations where coffee, sugar cane, cassava, palm hearts, papaya, oranges and much more are grown. We learn more about the cultivation and use of palmetto during an afternoon visit to a palmetto plantation. We will taste a delicious palm heart-based lunch and experience the hospitality of Costa Rica very closely.

Día 5: Sarapiquí / La Fortuna. 

We start the day after a good breakfast and prepare the cameras as we head to see the project of a family that loves nature. With them we will be able to observe and learn about the biodiversity of our country, to take care of it and respect it so that we can enjoy it for many more years.

After a snack we continued the trip to the beautiful town of La Fortuna de San Carlos to visit the incredible waterfall of the Fortuna River and swim in the pool formed at its feet.

Afterwards we will have lunch and have a wonderful coffee tour in the afternoon.

To end the day we will have dinner in a special place.

Día 6: Río Celeste / Eco Termales.

We wake up in La Fortuna and after a delicious breakfast we continue the adventure heading to the Tenorio volcano, we will rent our mountain boots to be able to make the journey to the birthplace of the celestial river, named for its waters of this same color. During the journey we will observe different species of exotic animals and a large amount of vegetation while a local guide will explain to us what we find.

After this experience we returned to the hotel to prepare to go to dinner in a wonderful place where we will also enjoy hot springs.

Día 7: Lago Arenal / Monteverde. 

After our delicious breakfast we head towards Monteverde passing through the extensive Lake Arenal, we will make a stop at a very special cafeteria where we can taste the delicacies they prepare while we observe the great lake from their beautiful terrace, in order to continue our tour and get to enjoy of a lunch on Cerro Santa Elena. Later we will visit the home of our beloved quetzal, a majestic bird with colorful plumage that can be seen in this place, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve.

Día 8: Monteverde. 

We woke up again in Monteverde to go see the project of a Costa Rican family that for a long time has developed an adventure park completely merged with nature, always taking care to coexist with it and not destroy it. Get ready to discover the cloud forest from above, enjoying a walk along hanging bridges as well as a variety of unique activities within the place.

Día 9: Monteverde / Playa Carrillo Guanacaste. 

We said goodbye to the Costa Rican Caribbean to find ourselves in the Pacific area, visiting the Guanacaste plains and doing some water activities on the way to quell the heat.

We will continue our way to Carrillo Beach to relax and enjoy an afternoon at the beach and later in the evening we will have a magical turtle watching tour.

Día 10: Playa Carrillo / Dolphin and whale tour. 

This day we will enjoy the sea, a boat trip where while we enjoy some soft drinks and fruits we will be able to observe dolphins and depending on the whale season, we will also visit a beach accessible only by boat to relax and sunbathe among other prepared activities.

We will have the afternoon completely free for you to enjoy on the beach.

Día 11: Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. 

After a good breakfast we head to the mountainous area of Guanacaste, where we can enjoy a dream experience in a true Costa Rican hacienda. We will continue towards the Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where we will travel through its beautiful trails observing a wide variety of animals such as spider monkeys, tepezcuintles, pumas, snakes among others.

After our journey on the National Park trail, we will go to the Hacienda Guachipelín hotel where we can relax in its pool and in the afternoon enjoy the hot springs with volcanic mud.

Día 12: Rincón de la Vieja. 

This day we will have it completely free to enjoy the different activities that the hotel has available, it will be a day of adventure where you can enjoy hiking, horseback riding tours, relaxation activities, water activities and much more.

Día 13: Rincón de la vieja / Alajuela.

After a delicious buffet breakfast we head to Alajuela, along the way we will enjoy a crocodile tour in the Tárcoles River, prepare your cameras to save this unique experience. After this experience we will arrive at the hotel to rest and prepare for our last group dinner.

Día 14: Departure. 

Today our adventurous and paradisiacal round trip with Wild Costa Rica ends. Depending on the departure time, we have breakfast together and review the last two weeks. Then we head to the airport so they can return home.
