Our tour to La Paz Waterfall Gardens begins with a one-hour journey along scenic roads, passing through picturesque villages on your way to the beautiful La Paz Waterfall Gardens complex, located in Vara Blanca de Alajuela.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens is Costa Rica's number one most visited private ecological attraction and offers the best hiking near San José, the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica, a rescued wildlife reserve with over 100 species of animals, and an environmental education program.

Enjoy walking along trails that will take you past five spectacular waterfalls spread across the rainforest and cloud forest. Visit the animal exhibits and walk the well-maintained 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles) of trails. Explore the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the birdhouse, the butterfly garden, the frog exhibit, and have the opportunity to see jaguars, capuchin monkeys, and more than 100 species of animals residing in this picturesque natural park. Our tour includes a delicious buffet lunch with multiple selections of traditional Costa Rican dishes.

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required, and up to a maximum of 8 people.

Cancellation Policy

- All cancellations must be emailed to info@wildtraveling.net at least 48 hours before the tour to receive a full refund; otherwise, no refund will be given. A full refund will be issued excluding a 5% credit card fee.
- Any changes to the tours must be emailed to info@wildtraveling.net at least 24 hours before the tour and are subject to availability.
- From December 15 to January 5 (holiday season), cancellations must be received at least 7 days before the tour to receive a full refund. A full refund will be issued excluding a 5% credit card fee.
- For events beyond our control, we may switch to a more suitable tour with equal or similar adventure appeal or offer other tour options, so you don’t miss a fun day in Costa Rica. We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unfavorable conditions and will only conduct a tour according to our policies. A full refund is granted if (in rare occasions) no tour is conducted.
- No-shows for any purchased service are considered a cancellation and are non-refundable.
- Once the trip has started, no refunds will be made for unused portions.
